TAKES THE GUESSWORK OUT OF PET SITTING

Maintaining the customers' pets and homes is the goal of Patty's Pampered Pet Sitting. In meeting this goal, Patty's is held to the same standards of fiduciary responsibility entrusted to others who play a significant role with the financial care of homes. This agency is bonded and insured to meet the requirements for COLDAC:

This service has never been intended for those who are willing to take a chance on just anybody. The "know, like, and trust" factors become readily apparent.


In meeting this responsibility, Patty's cannot be held liable for the home should another party enter the premises while the customer is away. Patty's will be relieved of any and all responsibility under this condition.


The interview process for this pet sitting service is very detailed and thorough. The objective is to remove any guesswork out of expectations, and to provide clarity as a safeguard for peace of mind.

The customer is requested to set aside at least an hour for the interview – minimum – to complete paperwork and answer all questions. Once the customer is familiar with Patty's, only updates are required.


The following items are requested for the interview:

  • A minimum of one key. Battery-operated garage door openers must be tested, and a code provided (it is imperative to determine that there is a way inside the home)
  • The name and number of anyone else who has access to your home.
  • The name and number of the preferred vet
  • Current rabies certificate, if available (required by County)
  • Travel information – itinerary, route, etc.
  • Emergency Contact Numbers
  • Other services expected – lawn, housekeeping, realtor, etc.
  • A flashlight (handy)
  • Emergency contact information for air conditioner and hot water heater (referrals available)
  • Location of labelled circuit breakers
  • Main water shut-off valve (if city)
  • Security code for alarm systems


In addition, existing customers are asked to provide updates on:

  • Pet's health, diet, routines, etc.
  • Updates on house keys, alarm codes, services expected
  • Location of rabies certificate and flashlights
  • Updates on travel plans and emergency phone numbers


NOTE: All customers are asked to call/text and leave a message upon their return – regardless of time. If no message, an additional visit will be made (and charged) for another visit in keeping with the established routine so that at no time is the pet left without attention. This is intended as a value feature of Patty's Pampered Pet Sitting.
